Program Overview

Adventure With Care, LLC ("AWC") operates an SMS/text messaging program to communicate with customers, members, and registrants who have provided their mobile phone number and given express written consent. This page describes our text messaging program, how users opt in, the types of messages sent, and how to opt out.

Types of Messages Sent

Users who opt in to our SMS program may receive the following types of text messages:

  • Transactional Messages: Order confirmations, payment receipts, subscription renewal reminders, expiration warnings, shipping notifications, and account security alerts
  • Registration & Survey Messages: Registration confirmations, survey verifications, offer activation codes, and redemption instructions
  • Loyalty Program Messages: Membership updates, points and rewards notifications, benefit activation alerts, tier upgrades, and program announcements
  • Adventure Pass Messages: Booking confirmations, campground availability alerts, check-in reminders, and park updates
  • Promotional Messages: Marketing offers, discounts, seasonal promotions, and partner deals from Adventure With Care and the specific partner campgrounds, RV resorts, dealerships, and affiliated businesses the user has engaged with
  • Informational Messages: Event reminders, travel tips, service notifications, and important updates related to programs the user is enrolled in

Message Frequency and Rates

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on the user's account activity, purchases, subscriptions, registrations, and partner interactions. Users may receive up to 15 messages per month. Transactional messages (order confirmations, renewal reminders, activation codes) are triggered by user actions and may be sent in addition to scheduled messages.

Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Users should contact their wireless carrier for details about their text messaging plan. AWC is not responsible for any messaging or data charges from the user's carrier.

Supported Carriers: T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and all other major U.S. wireless carriers are supported. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from the user's network operator.

How Users Opt In

Users provide express written consent to receive SMS/text messages through one or more of the following methods:

Method 1: Website Registration & Checkout

When creating an account, purchasing a product (such as an Adventure Pass or Loyalty Program membership), or completing a registration on www.adventurewithcare.com, users provide their mobile phone number and check a consent checkbox before submitting. The consent checkbox contains the following language:

I also consent to receive SMS/text messages from Adventure With Care and its partners at the phone number provided, including confirmations, offers, and promotional communications. Method 2: Survey & Event Registration Forms

When completing a survey or event registration form at a partner campground, RV resort, dealership, or event, users provide their mobile phone number and check a consent checkbox containing the same opt-in language shown above. Method 3: Keyword Opt-In (Text-to-Join)

Users may opt in by texting a keyword (such as JOIN, AWC, or a partner-specific keyword) to our designated phone number. After texting the keyword, the user receives a confirmation message with program details and must reply YES to confirm their subscription.

In all cases, consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of any purchase, subscription, registration, or participation in any AWC program.

How to Opt Out

Users can opt out of receiving text messages at any time using any of the following methods:

  • Reply STOP: Text STOP to any message received from Adventure With Care. A single confirmation message will be sent acknowledging the opt-out. No further messages will be sent unless the user re-subscribes.
  • Email: Contact support@adventurewithcare.com with the subject line "SMS Opt-Out" and include the phone number to be removed.
  • Phone: Call (201) 500-2289 and request to be removed from the SMS program.

Opting out of promotional messages does not affect transactional messages related to active orders or account security. Users may separately opt out of all messages by replying STOP.

User Consent Records

AWC maintains records of each user's opt-in consent, including the date, time, method of opt-in (web form, survey, or keyword), the phone number provided, and the specific consent language displayed or communicated at the time of opt-in. These records are retained for the duration of the user's participation in the program and for a reasonable period thereafter for compliance purposes.

Privacy and Data Use

Phone numbers collected through our SMS program are used solely for the purposes described on this page and in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers with unaffiliated third parties for their independent marketing purposes. Phone numbers may be shared with our messaging service providers (such as Twilio) solely for the purpose of delivering text messages on our behalf.
